Student Design Competion · 2026

Clothes made for kids,
not by kids.

Now designed by them.

We make ethical, affordable kids' clothing — and we want your students to design the next one.

Why it works

Three wins.
Nobody loses.

01
The Student

Their drawing becomes a real t-shirt sold across Australia. We credit and celebrate them in all our comms.

02
The School

Every sale made using your school's unique discount code earns your P&C 10% — automatically, passively, with no admin required.

03
The Parent

10% off using the school code — and they know the shirt is ethically produced.

How it works

Simple from
start to shirt.

01
Your school registers

We provide you with a simple student brief, a template for drawings and plenty of comms to share with families.

02
Students submit drawings

Any style. Any subject. Any age. We're not looking for technical perfection — we're looking for designs that feel like they came from a real kid.

03
We shortlist, the community votes

We shortlist the entries from across NSW. The community votes and the three designs with the most votes go into production.

04
Three winning designs become real shirts

Each winning design is produced as a Dale Kids tee — and sold nationally. Each winning student is credited and celebrated.

05
Every school earns

Whether you win or not, your school's code keeps earning. Every time a parent uses it to buy Dale Kids, your P&C gets 10%.

The numbers

What your school earns.

Every school
10%
of every sale made using your school's unique code — paid to your P&C each term. No invoicing, no admin.
Every parent
10% off
on every Dale Kids purchase when they use the school code.

Commissions are paid at the end of each school term directly to your P&C bank account. No invoicing required from your end.

No cost. No commitment. Nothing to organise beyond a callout to your students.

Questions

Things people
usually ask.

Does it cost anything?
Nothing. No fee to register, no minimum purchases, no obligations.
How much admin is involved?
Very little. You share info and a template with your students, we handle everything else. The discount code earns passively — just keep it in your newsletter.
Who can submit a drawing?
Any student at your school, any year, any style. We're looking for personality and character, not technical skill.
How does the commission get paid?
All sales through your school's unique code are tracked automatically. We pay your P&C bank account at the end of each school term. No invoicing required.
What if we don't win the design competition?
Your code still earns your P&C 10% on every sale for the rest of the school year. The design competition is the creative opportunity — the code is what makes this worthwhile for every school regardless.
How many designs get produced?
We're aiming to produce three designs from across participating NSW schools — chosen by community vote. Each will become their own Dale Kids product, credited to the student and school that created them.
